ABOUT US

In 2016, The Waterbearers launched its first fundraising campaign to provide access to clean water for one million people. By inspiring 100 women to participate in a 30-day challenge, the initial campaign successfully provided clean water access to 320,000 individuals through a partnership with Waves For Water. By 2017, that number had almost doubled, and The Waterbearers officially registered as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in the United States.

Through strategic partnerships, collaborations with local organizations, and support from community leaders, The Waterbearers has funded clean water initiatives in 34 countries. They have traveled to some of the most remote areas of the world to deliver essential clean water solutions to those in need.

As Fundación Wakani in Ecuador, our focus is to provide clean water solutions to Indigenous communities in the Amazon rainforest to ensure the health and wellness of future guardians.
